|Background ABCA1 (ATP-binding cassette, sub-family A (ABC1), member 1), also known as ABC1, the cholesterol efflux regulatory protein (CERP), is a protein which in humans is encoded by the ABCA1 gene. The membrane-assoc protein encoded by this gene is a member of the superfamily of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters. ABC proteins transport various molecules across extra- and intracellular membranes,contains 2,261 amino acids. Dot blot analysis of 50 tissues revealed ubiquitous expression of ABCA1 mRNA, with highest expression in placenta, liver, lung, adrenal glands, and all fetal tissues examined, and lowest expression in kidney, |ELISA: 3-6 ug/ml, Western Blotting 1:1,000, Immunoprecipitation, 1:2,000. Immunogen: Peptides amino acids 1800-2260. Form of Antibody: 1 mg/ml in PBS, pH 7.4 with 0.05% Sodium Azide. Frozen liquid. Clone: AB1.G6. Isotype: Mouse IgG1. Storage/Stability: Stable for 1 year at -20°C and 3 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of the product, centrifuge the original v after thawing and before removing the cap.
