|Background C-fos induced growth factor (FIGF) (or vascular endothel growth factor D, VEGF-D) is a vascular endothel growth factor that in humans is encoded by the FIGF gene. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the platelet-derived.growth factor/vascular endothel growth factor (PDGF/VEGF) family and is active in angiogenesis, lymphangiogenesis, and endothel cell growth. Analyzing by Northern blotting, Yamada et al. (1997) symbolized VEGFD, was expressed as a 2.2-kb transcript with highest expression in lung, heart, small intestine, and fetal lung, and lower levels in skeletal muscle, colon, and |Human. No cross reactivity with other proteins. Applications: WB 0.1-0.5 ug/ml IHC-P 0.5-1 ug/ml. Reactivity: Human, Mouse, Rat. Immunogen: A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence in the middle region of human VEGFD , identical to the related rat and mouse sequences. Purification: Immunogen affinity purified. Form of Antibody: Each v contains 5 mg BSA, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4, 0.05 mg Thimerosal, 0.05 mg NaN3. Isotype: Rabbit IgG. Storage/Stability: Stable for 1 year at -20°C and 3 months at 4°C. For maximum recovery of the product, centrifuge the original v after thawing and before removing the cap. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
