TNFRSF10A Antibody

EN
Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor Subfamily Member 10A, APO2, DR4, TRAILR1

Additional Information:
|Background TNFRSF10A (Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor Subfamily Member 10A), also known as APO2, DR4 or TRAILR1, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the TNFRSF10A gene. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily. By analysis of rad hybrids, Marsters et al. (1997) mapped the DR4 gene to 8p21. The TRAIL receptor DR5, and 2 decoy receptors for TRAIL, DCR1, and DCR2, are located in the same region, suggesting that these receptors arose from recent gene duplication events. |WB 0.1-0.5 ug/ml. Reactivity: Human. Immunogen: A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence at the N-terminal of human TNFRSF10A. Purification: Immunogen affinity purified. Form of Antibody: Lyophilized. Each v contains 5 mg BSA, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4, 0.05 mg Thimerosal, 0.05 mg NaN3. Isotype: Rabbit IgG. Storage/Stability: At -20°C for one year. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for a longer time. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

Antibodies are immunoglobulins secreted by effector lymphoid B cells into the bloodstream. Antibodies consist of two light peptide chains and two heavy peptide chains that are linked to each other by disulfide bonds to form a “Y” shaped structure. Both tips of the “Y” structure contain binding sites for a specific antigen. Antibodies are commonly used in medical research, pharmacological research, laboratory research, and health and epidemiological research. They play an important role in hot research areas such as targeted drug development, in vitro diagnostic assays, characterization of signaling pathways, detection of protein expression levels, and identification of candidate biomarkers.
