Background:
Tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNFA) also kowns as TNFR1, It is a potent cytokine, elicits a broad spectrum of biologic responses which are mediated by binding to a cell surface receptor. There are 2 different proteins that serve as major receptors for TNF-alpha, one associated with myeloid cells and one associated with epithelial cells. TNFR1 maps to 12p13. TNFR1 signaling is also known to activate the transcription factor NF-kappa B and promote survival.Tumor necrosis factor, alpha-induced protein 1 (endothelial), also known as TNFAIP1, is a human gene. The gene, present in single copy, was located in the 17q22-q23 region. This gene was identified as a gene whose expression can be induced by the tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF) in umbilical vein endothelial cells. Studies of a similar gene in mouse suggest that the expression of this gene is developmentally regulated in a tissue-specific manner. The protein is involved in the primary response of the endothelium to TNF. PA000215-PA1079: TNFα Polyclonal Antibody Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody. Specificity/Sensitivity: Human, mouse, rat. No cross reactivity with other proteins. Applications: Western blot: At 1-2 ug/ml with the appropriate system to detect TNFa in cells and tissues. Immunohistochemistry(P): At 0.5-1 ug/ml to detect TNFa in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded tissues. Reactivity: Human, Mouse, Rat. Immunogen: A peptide mapping at the C-terminal of TNFα of human origin, different from the mouse sequence by one amino acid, and rat sequence by three amino acids. Purification: Immunogen affinity purified. Form of Antibody: Each vial contains 5 mg BSA, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4, 0.05 mg Thimerosal, 0.05 mg NaN3. Isotype: Rabbit IgG. Storage/Stability: Stable for 1 year at -20°C and 3 months at 4°C. For maximum recovery of the product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and before removing the cap. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Other TNFα Antibody: TNFα Monoclonal Antibody TNF alpha Proteins: Recombinant Rabbit TNFα Protein Recombinant Mouse TNFα Protein Recombinant Human TNFα Protein, His Tag Recombinant Canine TNFα Protein Recombinant Human TNFα Protein TNFα ELISA Kits: Rat TNFα ELISA Kit Mouse TNFα ELISA Kit Human TNFα ELISA Kit

Antibodies are immunoglobulins secreted by effector lymphoid B cells into the bloodstream. Antibodies consist of two light peptide chains and two heavy peptide chains that are linked to each other by disulfide bonds to form a “Y” shaped structure. Both tips of the “Y” structure contain binding sites for a specific antigen. Antibodies are commonly used in medical research, pharmacological research, laboratory research, and health and epidemiological research. They play an important role in hot research areas such as targeted drug development, in vitro diagnostic assays, characterization of signaling pathways, detection of protein expression levels, and identification of candidate biomarkers.
