Product Name :
TNC Antibody

EN
Tenascin C, TN, HXB

Additional Information:
|Introduction TNC (Tenascin C), also known as TN or HXB, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the TNC gene. By means of Southern analysis of rodent-human somatic cell hybrids and by in situ hybridization using hexabrachion cDNA probes, Gulcher et al. (1990) localized the TNC gene to chromosome 9q32-q34. Olson and Srivastava (1996) reviewed processes involved in se|WB 0.1-0.5 ug/ml IHC-P 0.5-1 ug/ml. Reactivity: Human, Rat, Mouse. Immunogen: A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence at the C-terminal of mouse TNC, identical to the related rat sequence, and different from the related human sequence by two amino acids. Purification: Immunogen affinity purified. Form of Antibody: Each v contains 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4, 0.05 mg NaN3. Isotype: Rabbit IgG. Storage/Stability: Stable for 1 year at -20°C and 3 months at 4°C. For maximum recovery of the product, centrifuge the original v after thawing and before removing the cap. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

Antibodies are immunoglobulins secreted by effector lymphoid B cells into the bloodstream. Antibodies consist of two light peptide chains and two heavy peptide chains that are linked to each other by disulfide bonds to form a “Y” shaped structure. Both tips of the “Y” structure contain binding sites for a specific antigen. Antibodies are commonly used in medical research, pharmacological research, laboratory research, and health and epidemiological research. They play an important role in hot research areas such as targeted drug development, in vitro diagnostic assays, characterization of signaling pathways, detection of protein expression levels, and identification of candidate biomarkers.
