Additional Information:
|Background Cathepsin D is one of the lysosomal proteinases. It is ubiquitously expressed and is involved in proteolytic degradation, cell invasion, and apoptosis. Cathepsin D is mapped to chromosome 11. The amino acid sequence predicted from the cDNA sequence shows that human cathepsin D consists of 412 amino acids with 20 and 44 amino acids in a pre-and a prosegment, respectively. | Cathepsin D Monoclonal Antibody Mouse Monoclonal Antibody. Applications: CTSD antibody has been tested by ELISA and Western blot analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results. Recommended dilution range for Western blot analysis is 1:500 ~ 2,000. Recommended starting dilution is 1:1,000. Reactivity: Human. Immunogen: Anti-human CTSD mAb is derived from hybridization of mouse SP2/O myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with recombinant human CTSD amino acids 21-412 purified from E. coli. Purification: CTSD antibody was purified from mouse ascitic fluids by protein-G affinity chromatography. Form of Antibody: 1 ug/ml containing PBS, pH-7.4, & 0.1% Sodium Azide.
